Monty "My Life's A Movie" Meza-Clay



Only standing 5'2" he is known for his toughness and ability to rumble on the inside with

the best of them. Small in stature, his work ethic and ability to push forward through

many challenges in and out of the ring have given him the clout to bolster the iconic

nickname.


The super lightweight fighter from Rankin, Pennsylvania persevered through many

injuries and setbacks to come out with an overall record of 37-5 with 21 Knockouts.

Fighting a total of 42 professional bouts spanning from 2002 through 2015. He captured

the IBA Super Featherweight Title in 2005, and the WBO Featherweight Title in 2008.

His amateur career was also successful with him winning the Golden Gloves

Tournament multiple years in a row, and finishing with a record of 52-8.


He has appeared multiple times on ESPN and many other network televised events.

Notably against Eric Aiken, winning in the 7th round by referee stoppage on Friday

Night Fights on February 1st, 2008. He was also a fight of the year candidate in his war

against Alan Herrera winning by TKO in the 10th round in 2014. He is a very active

member of his community and surrounding areas always putting others before himself

and leading by example.
